Cardboard suitcases in hand. Was no free furnishings upon arrival. Not all religious, just hungry for freedom. Some where douped into farming for free land, but that was a Abraham Lincoln thing. After removal of the native Americans in 1830s Lincoln had to come up with some idea in 1860s to populate harsh descolat areas that still to this day people wonder why they live there.
