the prompt the AI is reading in order to determine NSFW is identical to what the actual rule states in the submission guidelines now. we'll tweak both of them as needed to make it accurate.

Thats not even the point of the image. It’s not advertising viewers to use cigarettes, furthermore, it’s not nsfw, especially not in this image.

You are correct in asserting that the cigarette is not the point of the image when others are using this template. But unfortunately, from a raw objective lens, you cannot simply look at the intent of an author to judge the impact of a creative work, you have to look at the practical real world holistic implications, which may be accidental or implicit.

Either way though, seeing a cigarette in an image is not something that imgflip considers NSFW.

“Other mature content” leaves the bot to it’s own devices and keeps flagging several images as false positives. I will link several examples. Furthermore, imgflip should not be used in a “professional setting” whether that be a work place or school.
