Europeans love to point at the States as being uncaring about gun deaths, while they ignore their own people dying from completely preventable reasons. Maybe if those victims didn't pay half their income in taxes they could afford air conditioning

I actually agree with you. We criticize US gun deaths and we have huge mortality from other things.

But the difference is death from guns is arguably preventable.

The US also has one of the highest suicide rates on earth. You're also one of the most obese nations on earth. You also have way more deaths from car accidents. Because we take trains and buses.
