I suspect (but do of course correct me if I'm wrong) the "joke" is implying that a lot of the people with dyed hair, piercings and glasses, on top of being SJW snowflakes, are also supposed to be trans. (They also all seem to present as fairly young and "white". Not a very diverse image, folks.)

And since the belief in some circles is that transgender ideology is a rampant mental illness, society would therefore be healthier if we incarcerated them for life with no parole in "asylums" (aka psychiatric hospitals/institutions to use more 21st-century language) for the good of all.

Plenty of murderers get "life" which often means 20 years, by which point they are now safely rehabilitated to rejoin society. But if you're deemed "mentally ill" by top medical experts on Imgflip, you are clearly a persistent danger to others and should be locked up for "good" (of all) with no chance of reprieve, and that makes our society more civilized.

Ivanka Trump also apparently had a blue-hair phase, but she's not trans or an SJW so she's probably fine:

These days, horrible debilitating symptoms aside ofc which you have my sympathy for, being "mentally ill" (whatever that even means – I personally dislike that term) is arguably often more a sign that you're actually more "sane" than the average person in this loony modern world.

ADHD and autism aren't technically mental illnesses btw although they're often comorbid (go together) with stuff like depression and anxiety and often get lumped in together; they're classed as neurodevelopmental disorders or differences (or neurospicy "superpowers" or whatever, outside of medical circles).

They're super high in protein and nutrients and good for you! And way better for the environment because they're way more efficient at converting energy to flesh than a cow, and use up way less resources and produce less emissions.

(Okay, I admit I feel bad killing them for food. Especially en masse. We might have to work out a few ethical issues with this. Even mass murderers who shoot up schools or butcher their ex-wives don't get that treatment. They get a trial where they get to defend themselves with lawyers and a jury for their heinous crimes, a sentence, and fixed release date.

"Mentally ill" people just get locked up with no end date. So essentially an indefinite sentence, possibly for life. Is that humane in your world? That a mass murderer gets more freedom than someone with an illness who never harmed a soul?
