Yes, because without the second picture, not only would the first never have come to pass; but that flag would never have come to represent the greatest nation in the history of humanity.
It would be nice if the political Left 'collective' would occasionally crack the pages of a history text -- written BEFORE the Left took over public education -- and actually become independently informed for once.
