Literally... Out of the top 20 worst crime cities, only 3 of them are run by Republicans and 1 by a non partisan person. The other 16 are Democrats.
When the category is worst crime statistics, and Democrat Mayors beat out Republican Mayors more than 5 to 1, that's the exact definition of better for the Republicans.
Wait a minute, wait a minute, that's impossible. You have to go check those figures again, there's no way that can be accurate. Three cities that are actually run by Republicans? On what planet?
Of course the largest and most crime ridden cities are run by Democrat mayors. All large cities are run by Democrat mayors. In fact, you know what we call so-called cities that are run by Republicans around this parts? We call them neighborhoods. A suburban development or small town with a three block main street that has a government building with a mayor's office in it is a city in name only
Anyways, when you look at what states these high crime cities are located in, a different picture emerges. Also when you look at per capita crime rates, same thing, a different pattern. New York City has more crime than any other city in the US. It also has a larger population than do 39 States. But per capita, it's actually the safest big city in America.
Saying Democrat run big cities have the highest crime rate is like saying that all air comes from the sky, no matter where on Earth you're standing.
Except you made counter points - which you couldn't have done, unless it was an argument. Even if your counter points ended up landing on my side of the Argument, that's still argument.
You're right though about New York City. Per capita - it's got a 5.3 where as the national rate is 6.5(ish).
That's mostly because Property Crime is next to nothing (compared to other big cities) in New York City. Which falls in line with protests that turn into Property Damaging situations or don't. In New York City people tend to protest and not also break a bunch of crap. Where as the cities with the highest rates tend to let protestors get away with arson, theft, and other destructive measures.
I did not make counter points. I stated facts. When you stick with the facts, it cuts out the middleman and saves a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on nonsense emotion-based yammering.
Here's some facts, going back some 8 years to somebody who was trying to make your same point:

I'm really not good at math, and I swear I must have made an error in there a few times because the numbers are literally exceedingly unbelievable. 2017 in a lovely 'city' in Georgia, and it's worse than it was in the worst slums here during the height of the Crack Epidemic.
I almost did another one, which I almost regret not doing now. This other fellow was from Florida, and he gave the name of his hometown citing the same argument. The numbers were so bad, it made Georgia look like New York in comparison! I kid you not. But like I said, I'm not good in math, and I don't like even looking at numbers. So I would have to double check and check again and then type it out and some formulated way to make it understandable, and I just couldn't be arsed to do it.
Perhaps you can do the same, seeing as you keep insisting you're having an argument. Compare the crime statistics in your city to mine.

My mistake. Somewhere between originally saying "lone highway" instead of "dirt road" and thinking that I had me posted this on a vBackman meme, I got mixed up. My bad.
Also, "natural tan" and "tan people" are not the same, unless naturally deeply tan always.
