i think that's a good idea. third parties generally don't work out because they need to gain enough momentum to not be absorbed by one of the majority parties. the time has never been better than now for a strong third party to emerge, but it'll need a strong leader.
your vote always counts when you don't vote for a bad choice, or when you vote for the lesser of two evils. and democracy's not just about voting. people have to join the process, work together, compromise, and fix what doesn't work. the greatest damage done when leaders polarize the country is that problems get presented as black-and-white and people stop trying.
