The United States of America was founded as the freest nation to have ever existed. And that includes the fact that slavery existed back then. Slavery has existed in one form or another in every nation. Slavery is gone and NO ONE wants it back. The problem is sex slavery has vastly outnumber African slavery and libs don't seem to care. In the early 20th century the Progressive movement started. At that time the Progressives openly praised Stalin, Mussolini and Hitler as "men of the future". Then Germany invaded Poland and we went to war with Germany and Italy. The Progressives, in order to save face, push nazis and fascists off on the right wing. And because they had a very strong foothold in the education system that started being taught in college.

Communism, nazism and fascism are all variations of socialism and socialism is a far left total government and total loss of individual liberty system of government. The true far right is anarchy. No government at all. Just a few steps to the left of anarchy is where our founding fathers were. They were still miles to the right of where the Democrat party is.

So how would you describe Trump and Maga? Not Conservative by any stretch of imagination.

I know what fascism is. I have studied what it means. It was invented in Italy and when Mussolini (a socialist at the time) found out about it's tenets he converted to it. At it's core it is identical to the socialism he was very familiar with. It still controlled the means of production, it still took property rights. It still would have enslaved the population, just like socialism, communism and nazism (or national socialism).

I support Trump because he is trying to cut spending, lower the debt and get all of the criminals that flooded over the Mexican border because Biden just opened the door wide open. I really do not see what the problem is with wanting to know who is entering our country because as it turns out several Islamic terrorists have crossed our border illegally, We have a history of what Islamic terrorists have done in this country. So under what circumstance would we ever want more terrorists in our country? Why would want more murderers, more rapists, more sex traffickers, more of any other kind of criminal in this country.

None of this has anything to do with people who came here looking for a better life. Trump is trying to work on streamlining the process for giving green cards or work visas to those people. We just don't want criminals. Is that such a bad thing?

Would it surprise you if I told you that I did not vote for Trump in 2016? Or that a held my nose and voted for him in 2020 only because I knew Biden would be the worst possible president we could ever have (and I wasn't wrong, the man was completely senile before entering the White House).

What converted me to Trump was what he was saying in the 2024 election. He was sounding like a true Free Market economist. He sounded like a true American, much like our founding fathers. And, yes, I have read what our founding fathers believed from their own words and not from some liberal history revisionist.

Trump sounded just like a liberal trying to pass as a conservative when he first started running for president. He used to be a Democrat. I thought he was a fake or a plant. He was the last person I wanted running this country back in 2016. In 2020 we had experienced Trump as a president and he did okay, just okay as a president. But the 2024 Trump was day and night different than he was before. And was the closest person to actually returning our freedoms since Reagan.

So don't confuse me with a "MAGA head". Because it wasn't until know that I ever thought that Trump knew how to Make America Great Again. If he can clean out all of the government waste, lower or get rid of the income tax, get rid of the income tax on social security recipients and reduce the number of employees in the federal government by any percentage over 50% (I would prefer some where around a 95% reduction in federal employees) then we might, just might push that impending financial collapse off a few more years. The collapse that begin under FDR when he idiotically listened to John Maynard Keynes. And every politicians on both sides just kept pushing current problems off on the next administration. Trump seems to understand that and is trying to stop or at least slow down the impending collapse.

Libs can't meme because they don't live in reality. I have never seen a liberal meme that made any sense. One of the main problems is they just accept a false foundation as truth and then build from that. And they continue to build until they are completely devoid of any semblance of reality.

There are some good lib memes. I've seen a fair few. Thing is, you have to be prepared to break rules and be a bit NSFW.

You do not need to be vulgar to make a good meme. But in contrast I know of a person on ImgFlip that never produces NSFW memes but her memes keep getting marked as NSFW so that few people will see them. She is a conservative and a very decent person and I have never once ever saw a NSFW type of meme come from her.

She had actually brought this up with a community mod around 3 years ago or so. He looked at a couple of her memes and found out that whomever had marked them NSFW was on her end. So if she didn't do it whether intentionally or unintentionally, then somebody in her household did.

She somehow took this to mean that she wasn't responsible. So maybe somebody is sneaking in when she's not looking and tapped NSFW as she's about to submit.

I don't know if you have heard of Dry Bar Comedy. They have videos showing up all over the place. In the past if a comedian made it he was appear on the Johnny Carson show, especially if Carson invited the comedian to sit on the couch. Carson is long gone and Jimmy Fallon rarely has comedians on his show.

I heard about a year or so ago that Dry Bar is the new Johnny Carson's couch.

I figured out why. There are a lot of comedians that go straight for the sex jokes and all sorts of vulgarity. That type of comedy does not make you a funny comedian. It just gets cheap laughs with no staying power. But if you can be funny in a situation where you don't have to resort to sex jokes then it proves that you are a truly funny person.

I find that true of most anything.

What I find bizarre is when people from other countries watch America movies to help learn the language and come here they swear like a construction worker. Movies make people think that this is how Americans talk. And a good number do but on a day to day working situation, bad language is pretty rare. Not everyone swears their heads off.

When I was in high school back in the stone ages (I graduated in 1976) you could tell who the low lives and losers were by their language. Hollywood is full to the gills with low lives and losers and in their world everyone swears like that.
