Like any good Dem making a living doing essentially nothing in politics he figured he'd slide into the vice chair slot of the DNC, siphon off a few million, create a political war chest, raise his national profile, and then run for political office based on never actually having done anything.
But because he's only 25 years old and has got all the self-discipline of a drug addict he shot his mouth off too much and too soon about what the older and wiser and vastly wealthier and way more powerful people in the DNC 'should be doing' and they showed him what real power can do by openly manipulating their own rules to kick him to the curb.
Now he's gonna have to figure out another way to make his grift work.
