Obama had better Judgement? Obama deported Illegals based on the same exact criteria as Trump. What's the difference?

Really? Are you so sure about that?

Left wing propaganda outfit snopes seems to disagree.

Your point is moot. Non-citizens DO NOT have any right to a formal due process. They are by default ILEGAL. All that is needed for the so-called "due process", is to establish their identity, LEGAL residence and/or LEGAL citizenship for their country of origin. That's it... end of story.
0 ups, 1mo
if the story is a fairy tale, yes, but *everyone* has a right to due process because their citizenship status may be unknown at the time of arrest or incorrectly recorded. confirming their status is a part of due process. you should check these things out instead of just making assumptions that seem right to you.

AAhh yes, NPR the bastion of truth...lmao!! This title is somewhat misleading. It makes it sound like Trump is going to begin randomly deporting and imprisoning U.S. citizens who "did nothing wrong". Did you even read the article before presenting this image? It starts off truthful. then lies at the end half.

Here's an excerpt: "Responding to Trump on Monday, Bukele suggested his country is prepared to incarcerate U.S. citizens. "Yeah, we've got space," El Salvador's president said."

Trump and the Venezuelan president were just spit balling ideas openly. My guess is that they were just trying to invoke a reaction from the press.

This is where NPR lies... Excerpt: "The problem of course is [Trump] already has illegally deported hundreds of people by just not giving the courts an opportunity to stop him," Bier added. "I think that's the real fear, now that he is going to try to evade judicial review of deportations of U.S. citizens."

The ILLEGAL that were deported. Were deported LEGALLY under the constitution. The constitution DOES NOT stipulate legal protections for NON-CITIZENS aka INVADERS. It does however, provide equal protection under constitutional law for ALL immigrants and ALL LEGAL citizens who either reside here (in the U.S.) or for those who reside here LEGALLY but temporarily.

"The ILLEGAL that were deported. Were deported LEGALLY under the constitution."

Ya...They obviously did everything legally straight by the books!! That's why they deported Abrego Garcia to that prison in El Salvador... and then imported him BACK to America!!

COMMON SENSE!! 🤪

Albrego Garcia WAS NOT brought back to the U.S, because his deportation was a mistake...lmao Garcia Was brought back by the El Salvadorian president to face criminal charges here in America.
Try reading what the constitution says about equal protections for people... then get back to me. Hint, hint.... the constitution DOES NOT PROTECT non-citizen, ilegal invaders.
More to my point.... Albrego Garcia was not and IS NOT an American citizen. He was deported to the country of El Salvador because that is where he is a legal citizen.

To recap: OOPS it was an accident!! Sure a judge told us to turn the plane around... but we didn't. Oops! Also we're not bringing him back because he might be a gang member. Oops. The supreme court said that we have to facilitate his return.. wait.. Do we even have to listen to the supreme court? No I dont think we do, so we're not going to do that. Oops... Wait... yes we are... now that he has already been deported to a prison 2,500 miles away and been there for months(?) we will now ship him back here.... so that he will get due process... eventhough he doesnt deserve it considering he is an illegal immigrant (with legal status)..... but yes he will now get due process over a police stop that happened like.. 3 years ago.... where zero charges were filed against him at the time and the police let him go.... Ya that makes sense!! Completely normal and legal, by the books. Common sense!! 🤪

The U.S. constitution DOES NOT address deportations specifically but it does broadly speak on immigration regulation. My guess is that you're referring to the 14th amendment which defines due process and equal protection under the law. The problem with that is, It's talking about naturalized and person's BORN in the U.S. It's NOT talking about illegal invaders.

I absolutely DO NOT feel foolish. I couldn't possibly made to feel foolish by someone who naively falls for media propaganda. Please provide the link for your claim of children who are U.S. citizens being deported. Do you know what lying by omission means?

"here's my Master Class on finding links: open the search engine of your choice and type something like 'has Trump deported US citizens?' "

And right there is the problem. I mean, I figured that's how the left got their info, but to see it admitted to, as if this is how to do research, just makes one scratch their head.

Reminds me of a user who's handle may or may not rhyme with Harry Baird, who typed in something like 'does Trump hate migrants?'. What kind of results do you think you'll get when the answer is baked into the question? I'll tell you... you get hits from all the whack job web sites that hate... can you guess...? the ones who hate Trump.

And they're hardly objective, now are they?

Unbelievable how the left let's people with an agenda form their opinions for them.

it's important to not that you chopped off the second part of my answer where i say that you have to go thru the links to judge quality. comparing me to some nut job is hardly evidence of my method being poor. as a regular publisher of science and an occasional reviewer, i'm too aware of the problems you mention. many practicing scientists are careless about it.

you may be too young to remember this but just twenty years ago, you couldn't do a useful search by the current method. thirty to forty years ago, i spent hundreds of hours in research libraries looking thru hard-copy journals to find needed info, because that's what we had. now i have research students who just do a two-minute search and take the first hits they find. it would be very embarrassing if i let that work get to a dissertation committee or go out to a journal for consideration of publication. they have to learn to do a thorough job.

i am glad to see that you're sensitive to the issue, tho.

I already searched using that term. I found a few links and read them. Those links to news articles don't actually prove or specify who was an American and got deported. except in one instance where they repeatedly described 1 man as "The maryland man". Propaganda 101... Lie without lying. Yes, Albrego Garcia was a man living in Maryland but he's residing in Maryland ILEGALLY and he's an El Salvadorian citizen, not an American citizen.
I asked you to PROVIDE a link that gives me info on people who were American citizens and got deported. In part, this is to allow you to demonstrate that you actually put the effort into finding this information but it was also an attempt on my part to learn the source of your bold claim.
You have failed at both.....
Now please provide the link that claims with specificity what legal citizen got deported.

Nope. He has not deported any children who are US citizens.

I would ask you to prove that, but of course you cannot.

The children you're referring to were taken by their parents, with them, when they were deporrted.

Can you see the difference?
