Actually it's because Socialist/Communist/Marxist types are inherently lazy and envious and don't want to work for a living but do want to tear down anyone who's gotten ahead through hard work or who've just had good fortune in life. They are the quintessential 'gimme that' type . . . and so naturally are also the modern day bulk of Dem Party voters.

The funny part is that anyone who's studied the real history of Socialist/Communist/Marxist economics and ideology knows that not only does this wish fulfillment crap not work for anyone besides the top dogs but that it destroys the very people it purports to lift out of the 'muck'. It's essentially a massive pyramid scheme and the equivalent of fool's gold.
