If you read the Bible, it's clear that God is okay with killing children (he does it numerous times) and letting a man have multiple wives (he doesn't prohibit that)

Also, God does prohibit plural marriage: Mathew 16 says: ‘5 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Where does the Old Testament prohibit a man from having multiple wives?

To explain this, i should clarify. God used not ok with humans killing children for their own reasons. If God is passing judgement on a people, that is differnt. Also, Christ is very clear, every man involved in plural marriage is commiting adultery because each man can only have 1 wife. But, ultimately, that is not important because all people have sinned, and falen short if the standard of perfection we mudt acheive. That is why Christ came down from Heaven and became a human, lived a perfect life, and sacrificed hinself to save us! ALL who believe him will be saved.

How do we tell the difference between one group killing another group because they want to or because god told them to?

What's to stop someone from killing people and just saying god told them to do it?

The Old Testamant doesn't say a man can only have one wife. And if Jesus said that, then god is changing his mind

If you read the Bible, it is clear that God is a righteous God, and that all humans deserve death for their rebellion and evil. God, however, is the only one who can judge because he is the only one who is Holy. Humans may not murder because human is innocent. Does that make sense?

The term Christian nationalism does not refer to Christians who are patriotic, it refers to Christians who want to make the government explicitly Christian. That's illegal.

And there are many Christians who not only believe that, but have openly said that. Did you know there are Christians in the United States who think that the government should use taxpayer money to promote Christianity even though that's against the law?
