Yes, it's the governments

See, and that's the problem. Government always screws up things. I am perfectly fine with government give back tax money to the people so that they can afford private schools or homeschool and end public schools.

yea, there is an issue with this
and i assume you may or may not have heard about them and i dint trynna be aggressive with this btw i just wanna spread awareness

i think because i myself sometimes have issues understanding stuff ill try to make a way oversimplification of a issue:

richer people that could already afford private school do alright

but when poorer people get the money they usually spend it all on the private school, but they cant afford what is in addition to it, and plus private schools can be religious

(religious schools are fine but the separation of church and state is the one wall im all for)

Well, the idea is, if they do end public school then that tax money will be given back to the people so that they can afford private schools of their choice. This will result in more private schools to open up to meet the needs of the people. Cause and effect.

But private schools don't follow the same regulations and private schools can have religion, and funding religion isn't allowed

Public schools have to keep religion out of the classroom

(Besides like stuff such as English and all that you know)

Public also aren't exactly motivated by profit

So? Seems tou have a beef with religion. Not all private schools are religious schools. Again, if there is a demand for non religious public school, thanks to capitalism, more will open up to meet those needs.

And also, why would public schools have to follow failed policies and regulations from failed public schools?

not all public schools have failed, and private schools are spefically gonna be more money focused

and i know there are def some good private schools but public schools can be more regulated

Yes I bet somewhere othere there is one good public school specially in very small towns like Parsons TN. But that argument is like defending abortion because of rape, only happens the .09%. Majority of public schools, specially in the big city are garbage. The customer regulates private schools while government regulates public schools because it is financed by taxes which customers have no control.

ehh, i think the goverment control would be better in terms of those people are more under general public scrutiniy, while it could be more the rich/few people having actual influence in private

I think we just need to standerdizse across the country, because in alabama, theres stuff we aint getting taught that we need, just a county over and the schools suddenly get better, roads, everything, i think better education could help more people

private will be more expensive, children should not have to be able to learn thier abc's based on parents income, because that would detirmine the level of learning

I understand what you intended with your example, but i dont think its eqivilant

one is a crime and issue that horribly affects people and leaves them normally with trauma, the other is weather or not we fund public schools

i will redo what i said: a lot of privare schools, once the vouchers are gone, start eating away at parents wallets, and a public school is less expensive, while the state can better regulate how its run and make sure its being run right

the state would do the hiring not the school

we should allow abortions because or rape
we should allow school vouchers because of bad public schools

??????

the argument does not seem equal

and we can keep public schools and allow private ones, we dont have to fully do either
i gauss this is what it felt like, but then i realized we both want the same thing: we both want children to get good education without the parents having to lose money

but we have different ways we wanna do it, there's likely some compromise or something else we can figure out that works, right now it sorta works but i think we can do better
1 up, 1d
All I am saying is give people back their tax money, close out public schools, and let people figure out where they want to put their kids at or homeschooling their kids.

And yea, we all want kids to do good, and I guess I'm just worried about private schools not doing good or being bad but honestly I think I should accept I'm slightly overreacting, I guess I should also focus on improving public schools rather than just: say private schools bad ah

Yea, big brain time

i either mis worded or misinterprepted, it should not be:

we should allow abortions because or rape
we should allow school vouchers because of bad public schools

it should be:

we not should allow abortions because or rape
we should not block school vouchers because of good public schools
