Okay, but to be fair, Resident Evil 2 wasn't made for the N64. Whoever ported it had a lot of time. ActiVision, meanwhile, is pressed for time, and has to release a game every year to stay afloat. If they don't release a new game, they run out of money, and then there wouldn't be any CoD games.

Also, know that you're a small drop in the pond that barely registers on my RADAr, because the opinions and statements of people in online forums (such as this) are gross misinterpretations of the actual popularity of a product, since the only ones that pop up online are the ones who hate it while the majority of people actually like it and just don't take it to the forums.

Minus ten points for making me Google what pretentious and minus ten more for not using it in context. First, at no point did I claim to be better than you or the OP, neither directly nor indirectly. Second, I wasn't talking to you anyways, so you don't have room to comment on my words. Third, the contents of the second part of my comment should not affect your opinion on the first part; if it does, you have poorly developed social skills. Finally, I, contrary to your apparent belief, do not live my life searching for the validation of people who aren't going to give it to me by claiming I'm better than others for attention; if you believe that was my intent, you are a poor judge of character and should probably get better at researching your target before you shoot at them.

let me rephrase then, your presentation sucks because telling the person you're talking to that they mean nothing to you and are insignificant is a terrible way to present a good point. nobody needed to know that and it's better to show it by not responding. also the way you write has a "holier than thou" air to it, which is why i used the word pretentious. also what's with the whole "underdeveloped social skills" and "poor judge of character" thing? that's the kind of thing that reeks of being pretentious

I meant more "poor social skills" when I said that. Here's what I meant:

Poor social skills: You base your entire argument on an (admittedly) poorly worded add on to an argument you never had any business getting involved in anyways; I would've dealt with it on my own without your interjection.

Poor judge of character: You continue to judge me based on this one instance as opposed to letting me deal with ny own problems as I see necessary. If OP had taken a problem with it, they would've responded by now.

I was going to come back anyways and remove this comment because it was rude to replace it with something less discourteous. Not everything needs your input, sir/madam, and even if I am pretentious (which I do admit now that my head is clearer), it still doesn't mean you get to insert yourself into another person's argument. Please, understand I had no intention of being rude to you or OP, and I plan to rectify the situation as soon as we reach a verdict.

(Also, as an add on to this: Not trying to guilt trip or anything of that nature, but I am bipolar, which may have contributed to my behavior this far; just mentioning this to help understand my viewpoint)

that makes a lot more sense. i don't really see a reason to keep going so i just want to say that i don't judge you just for that one instance, i hardly know you so it wouldn't be fair to do that.

i also understand that not everything needs my input. i tend to think that more often than not that my input is not helpful, but i figured this was an exception as i somehow didn't expect it to turn into an argument and figured you'd see that and read your comment back over and think "yeah that is kinda pretentious"
