Okay, but to be fair, Resident Evil 2 wasn't made for the N64. Whoever ported it had a lot of time. ActiVision, meanwhile, is pressed for time, and has to release a game every year to stay afloat. If they don't release a new game, they run out of money, and then there wouldn't be any CoD games.
Also, know that you're a small drop in the pond that barely registers on my RADAr, because the opinions and statements of people in online forums (such as this) are gross misinterpretations of the actual popularity of a product, since the only ones that pop up online are the ones who hate it while the majority of people actually like it and just don't take it to the forums.
