That is true, there has to be some socialistic policies in place ina society as large as ours, We have to take care of our disabled and elderly, I have always been a huge supporters of programs that ease the burdens of those two demographics that no one seems to talk about anymore. Some one born disabled, or became disabled from an accident should never have to worry if they can afford food or medicine, same thing with the elderly.

Either climate change is a threat that is going to kill us all or it is not.. If it was , I think they would be using nonfossil fuels means of transportation. Also before planes , politicans used to travel by train, or by road. Plenty of electric cars he could choose from.
