I don't know about the specific case, but there can be instances where it's warranted.
It wouldn't primarily be for the use of "stfu" but have more to do with context.

Same goes for "retard." This meme is completely fine, but "retard" can also lead to ban in some situations.

It kinda depends.
Calling another user a retard is kinda pushing it, like saying "you are a fucķing retard", but saying something like "oh that guy is a retard" isn't as bad. (It really depends on the context)
