It must be miserable to genuinely think that scientists, historians, and journalists spent they entire lives telling you nothing but the truth, but a career politician who served for 55 years, plagiarized speeches over and over, molested his child, failed to acknowledge a grandchild, and raised multiple crackheads, is your sole source of truth.

It's strawman season! That's where the Political Left creates a side to an 'argument' that the opposite side doesn't hold and then argues against it. Very nice!

Of course all of this comes from the religious-like fervor with which the Left clung to the BELIEF that COVID 'science' was settled when in fact most of it turned out to be nothing more than leftist political propaganda endorsed by their bought and paid for scientists and medical personnel who have since been proved . . . wrong almost across the board.

That put a bad taste in the mouths of citizens who had up to then been conditioned to believe any and all pronouncements of 'science' as the modern equivalent of holy writ.
