Um . . . most conservatives have always supported Israel. In fact, they are rather famous for doing so. It's the Political Left that hates Israel and adores HAMAS and Hezbollah and so forth.
To clarify, though; probably at least one-quarter of conservatives would like to wean Israel off of a dependence on our arms and tax money. It's rather difficult to tell them that they are wrong so to think in that regard. They do have a point.
