Stephen King has been completely irrelevant for the past few years, so he decided going full TDS was a good idea to get himself back into the spotlight. 



It didn't work, so he fell off the face of the earth again, only to return when he went to X and posted his pathetic victim-blaming rant immediately after the attempt on Trump's life in July. Even some of his fellow liberals were disgusted by it. Talk about not reading the room.

He was good at it, but maybe he finally burned through his pool of creativity, and it's slowly driving him mad.  Hmmmmmm . . . hey King!  I've got a story idea for you!

Since I have never touched one of his books I don't know if that would work. I do know making a fool of yourself, insulting the majority of the country and never learning from your mistakes is not a good way to sell books.

He had something.  It would be difficult to have been the unhinged lunatic that he seems to be and have produced the wide spectrum of creative horror novel hits of decades ago.  I'm not saying it can't be done.  I would just be surprised is all.
