Canadian leadership threatened to cut off electric power to USA. Canadian have no one else to sell it’s power to. Canadian economy will go belly up if they do it. Canadian leadership changes it’s mind. Hence the issue with leftist. Leftist only responds to initial threat. Not thinking it through to its logical conclusion.

I would suggest that they almost never think their positions through to their logical conclusions. Time after time they propose ‘feel good’ solutions that to their eyes seem like something they think will make them feel better, but in the long run all they do is make the problem worse.
