Taking money from rich people through taxes, delays the middle class of future necessities. Rich people need to spend their money on frivolous unnecessary things. Rich people did not need televisions, cars, telephones, air conditioning, air travel, home commuters, car phones, and much more. When they wasted money on these things, all of which were not needed at the time, technology advanced. These things are now all indispensable for the middle class. What future items would be delayed by taxing the rich. Billionaires make your life easier.

Billionaires mostly don't make my life easier. The thing about giving money to rich people is that they can spend it anywhere (ski trip to Switzerland?), or may save it up to make themselves richer. Poor people, when they get a tax refund, tend to spend it right away, immediately sending that money back into the community. Also, the cumulative effect of how much the same $200 refund changes lives is much greater when it's given to poor people rather than rich people.

It's the same logic that makes micro-loans a good way to stimulate the economy in a poor country.

Really? What do rich people do with their money? They spend it, save it, invest it, donate it, and pay taxes. The worst thing is paying taxes. Taxes takes money from people that make more of it, and gives it corrupt politicians that waste a lot of it. Also, who do you want to move into your neighborhood? A billionaire, or a poor person?
