For years, Zelensky wrapped himself in the language of democracy while shutting down opposition parties, silencing independent media, and, worst of all, canceling elections outright. He also banned the Russian language in predominatly Russian-speaking East Ukraine. That isn’t democracy—it’s dictatorship.

Zelensky has been criticized for banning pro-Russian political parties, unlike Trump and the GOP that are doing all they can to promote Putin and Russia.

The United States does this with hundreds of other countries.
