Where does the constitution say we can’t hurt people’s feelings or disagree with their ideas?

It doesn't, you just can't violate it in the pursuit of those ends.

You mean like a president directing law enforcement to defer upholding the law because he doesn’t like the law and can’t get legislation to change it?

I think you're willfully misinterpreting my statement, but it intends to say that you can't violate the constitution just because you don't like something. Do you disagree with that?
