Not quite sure where the victim mentality is located when he/shes asking why some groups get titles and others don't.
So yes... what IS the title you call someone who hates christians?

It's called "Anti-Christian sentiment" or "Christianophobia/Christophobia" and it can easily be found on Google so I'm not sure why the original meme was even made.

It's very exaggerated which is why I called it victim mentality.

Do you mean there aren't people who hate christians? because even governments admit its an issue

Heres a quick copy-paste of the bulletpoints :

Around 365 million Christians are subject to “high levels of persecution and discrimination”. This compared to 340 million in 2021 (PDF).

1 in 7 Christians are persecuted worldwide, including 1 in 5 in Africa and 1 in 7 in Asia. This compared to 1 in 8 worldwide in 2021 (PDF).

4,998 Christians were killed for faith-related reasons. 90% of those killed were in Nigeria, where attacks on Christians have become more common since 2020 as part of a wider rise in political violence against civilians.

Open Doors estimates the number of Christians killed for faith-related reasons worldwide was 5,621 in 2023, 5,898 in 2022, and 4,761 in 2021.

14,766 Churches and Christian properties were attacked.
North Korea, Somalia, Libya, Eritrea, and Yemen had the highest rates of reported persecution against Christians.

I'm talking about the US. "Hatefulness" towards Christians in the US is nothing other than calling them puritans or homophobes.

I'm going to be honest, I don't really have that much sympathy for people who tell others they deserve to experience eternal torture because they don't accept a god. I think everyone should be allowed to practice their religion, but I can see why people get mad at them.

Obviously, they don't deserve to get murdered, but if you go to Saudi Arabia and tell them they need to repent or go to hell, you're kind of asking for it.

All of those sources are from worldwide polls and "persecution" doesn't happen in the US.

well I mean going by those parameters, there's no justifiable islamaphobia or anti-semitism either, given that you can chalk up all accounts to either just the perception of persecution because they were called bigots or puritans etc , an automatic assumption that they did something to provoke the situation with their faith, or coming into a christian country and 'asking for it' in some undetermined fashion

It's possible to be quiet about your religion. If someone is telling others that they're horrible people who deserve eternal death, people will be mad at them. If you do your own thing in private, nobody will be mad at you.

If someone is mad at you for practicing your religion quietly, that is persecution.

And yes, I know America has free speech so that's why I'm talking about other countries.
If a US Christian tells me I deserve to go to hell, I can tell them I hate them. It's free speech that goes both ways.

Well I mean you're automatically assuming that every situation is a christian screaming at some random passerby that they're going to burn in hell, where as anyone whose a muslim or a jew was just sitting in the corner reading the newspaper..
So again, by this standard, there is no persecution because we can just assume the reverse

If we're just going to flippantly make a generalized conclusion on every case that has/is/will ever happen, then I don't see why we can't do that in the opposite direction..

Where is this persecution happening in the US?

By your parameters nowhere or for anyone in effect
If a muslim gets punched (etc) its either because he told the other person he was going to hell because he didn't convert or his religion was unrelated to it and it was simply perception by him that it was an 'islamaphobic attack'..

but we know that because actual discrimination only happens in other nations....and when that happens its because he 'had it coming' for going to a non-muslim country and telling them they're going to hell, which is also apparently 100% of the causes
* shrug *

It wont let me reply directly so ill put it here:

If you can assume that 100% of any persecution against a christian is
1. The exclusive result of telling people they're going to hell
2. Simply name calling
3. Any such incident happening to a muslim or a jew (etc) is persecution because they were doing no such thing

Then I, by the same standard get to argue that any persecution against a muslim (etc) is
1. The exclusive result of telling people they're going to hell if they don't convert
2. Simply name calling
2b. Therefore anything worse is actually unrelated to any persecution

If however you can admit that your (excuse the pun..)
1. hellbent focus is that shouting at people in public that they're going to hell is not the only reason why someone can persecute a christian
2. Another group completely minding their business may NOT be the cause of the persecution

Then your argument falls flat.

Jews are killing Christians in Israel. But who cares, since Israel isn't America, despite the fact Israel controls Washington, DC.
