I don’t know if it’s true or not since I heard it from the media, but if true, apparently a very strong majority of the people in Gaza would still vote for Hamas to be their government, even after all of this.

The people to feel sorry for in Gaza are the ones who actually want peace, and of course, the children, not the radical terrorists who sought this war, and who seem unwilling to end it. The cease-fire means nothing to them, other than a chance to regroup and re-double their terrorism against Israel.

It's sickening to see the worldwide celebrations of the Islamist defeat of Israel with this ceasefire debacle. At least they kill a few of themselves with their celebratory gunfire in the air. That's not how guns work. The bullet loses all velocity and then falls at terminal velocity. Like getting hit by a pellet.

Not necessarily. 20 years ago in Denver a man was sitting on his front porch on the 4th of July and was killed by a shot from 2 miles away. With enough elevation, a bullet can maintain enough velocity for lethality. Point of impact can also be a factor, bruise on a leg could be penetration of a temple. Report didn't say circumstances on this, but it was confirmed as a likely "accidental" shooting.
