The average Dem voter certainly is unaware, although a lot of MSM viewership has dropped off, probably among independents.

Yes, I'm of two minds about this myself. I think that there's a general national awareness that the MSM is not to be trusted where honesty regarding politics is concerned; but taking that final step to comprehend that the MSM essentially has become the permanent political propaganda arm of the Dem Party seems beyond most citizens. They don't WANT to connect those final couple of dots.

Independent podcasters and such are the wave of the future. That's certainly going to leave a lasting political mark.

That and if the advertising world wasn't filled with leftist loons, they would hire people like us to market to the right. We understand our own and know how to reach them, they fail daily.

Good point. Disney, for instance, would not be losing money hand over fist if it were receiving advice from people who actually understood what the average citizen wants by way of family entertainment. Leftists can't give them that particular insight, but conservatives can.

I have always had an eye for linking things together that others miss. In the real world it means I can walk in a mom and pop store, tell them about a friend's business and have them work a deal to support each other. I did it last night, I went to a meeting of small business owners and when they presented a problem, I suggested improvements that raised eyebrows. They saw problems and I saw opportunity. Maybe I should be in advertising, lol.

One of my side hustles is making signs, I help with that too. They show up with a basic idea and leave with suggestions that will highlight their business and what makes it unique and worth someone's hard earned money. It has been a while since I just took someone's design idea and just made it. I find most people have tunnel vision and trap themselves, they need help they just don't know how to get any.

This cues into something I was thinking about on my way to the V.A. early this morning. I am both a landscape painter and wood carver -- as a hobby -- and do well enough with both endeavors to be going on with to the point that I've won a contest for doing both; but what I wanted to be was a novelist.

What I finally realized -- years ago now -- was that I simply did not possess the creativity to be a novelist. I'm utterly incapable of coming up with my own plotting ideas and then holding onto that as I banged out the story. Twice I actually produced a complete manuscript and in each case they were garbage. Just goes to show.

I hear ya, I accomplished many life goals but have since realized that you can be great at what you do and still get dropped because you refuse an untested shot. In hindsight, I was never happy wearing nice clothes and trying to impress rich men. I now realize a stained, shirt with a hole burned through it makes me feel more like a man and chasing money is a stupid and sad life.
