Breathing

Seen this before in a zachdfilms short.

If there is that much smoke, eventually you will burn to death.

If you stay put in the bathroom and the fire keeps getting bigger, eventually the air temperature in there will get so hot that everything (and everyone) inside will burst into flames. Firefighters call that "flashover". So this is a useless invention.

Besides, I think the air in the pipes would be just as hot and toxic, if not hotter and more toxic, than the air in the bathroom.
