Title ran out of space and should have read, ("damage to children without fathers for 4 yrs. is incalculable".)

It is still hard for me to believe that our system failed so miserably due to Democrat misbehavior and corruption. I think this lawsuit will be won in the court system as We the (Good) People unite for our country and against the enemies within...

Clearly, there is a huge difference in that J6ers actually experienced what was outlined in the title whereas there are no U.S. slaves alive today. When punishments are deemed excessive, the only solution is financial.

So what you’re saying is people arrested for CRIMES THEY COMMITTED ON LIVE TV is equivalent to being torn from your homeland and family (sometimes children right out of their mothers’ arms!), sold in a foreign continent and forced to work for no pay, alongside getting beaten and raped among other atrocities?

Methinks one of these is not like the other.

Methinks the people who sold them into slavery are most culpable... That happened before being shipped from their home continent....

Did America build slaveships? Nope, we built war ships for a reason.

So it’s the seller’s fault that atrocities happen?

Guess you must think gun manufacturers are to blame for mass shootings?

So the Kings of Africa had no responsibility!

No, it’s that everyone that had a hand in it is responsible. Full stop.

So Ford is responsible for the Nola attack.
And whatever rental company he got the EV through.
And the DoT for providing access between Houston and New Orleans!
And Apple for the iPhone he used to navigate! And for accessing Twitter!
And Twitter because he was radicalized by ISIS (but not ISIS, that's hateful you islamophobe)!
And his 1st grade teacher for teaching him how to read at all!
His mom for birthing him!

Feel free to show me where that line of responsibility is drawn and why it shouldn't go farther. Because I'm pretty sure you only want to lump gun manufacturers because you don't like guns and don't really think all manufacturers are liable for misuse of their products. Only guns.

Tell that to the other guy, he was the one who brought it up.

Not to mention that your extrapolation completely missed the point of this argument. The mass murder debate was in the other thread, this one is about the atrocity of slavery.
