The cocaine was found during a routine security sweep by the Secret Service. It was not found in a search based on probable cause or a warrant. 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is the residence of the Biden family. Therefore, the cocaine could never be used as evidence in a court of law against any member of the Biden family. That would explain why the investigation went nowhere. On the outside chance it did belong to a non-family member, the investigation would’ve continued. Whatever evidence, DNA, fingerprint, video, etc. would’ve probably identify who put it there.
