Oh, it went down in South Korea.

He was planning on arresting political opposition leaders so they couldn't call the Parliament in to order. He was hours into trying to dismantle Korean democracy when the public forced him to back down.

Like Hyndai's workforce- as a whole- threatened to go on strike if he didn't resign.

It's deeper than that. North Korea supports Putin, South does not. Think world politics.

I don't understand why you agree with this man using North Korea as an excuse to try to turn South Korea into a dictatorship.

Did I say I agree or did I suggest there is more to his political move?

The meme had nothing to do with Vladimir Putin, yet you suddenly bring him up & seem to be saying that it's important to oppose North Korea for being associated with him. Standing up to NK was Yoon's excuse for declaring martial law. How else can I interpret that comment?

The meme did not mention Putin, correct. But I didn't "suddenly bring him up." Nor did I state any opinion or "seem to be saying" anything more than what I said. You can interpret it as me saying there is more to the situation. It was in an AP News article and I was offering additional info. I don't have a personal opinion on this political issue.
