The old Democratic Party was capitalist and they also defended free speech. The New Democratic Party isn’t. They are Marxists disguised as “democratic socialists” who abhor free speech or diversity of thought like all Marxist’s do.

They're still capitalists. A socialist believes in worker control over the economy in at least some way. A communist believes in direct workplace democracy. A communist also means that free speech also means freedom to shame you publicly for something you said because it is.
