With 449 million people and a 19.4 trillion dollar GDP in 2024 (the second largest on Earth), perhaps the EU can step it up a bit and defend their own back yard for once instead of waiting for Big Daddy Uncle 'Money Bags' Sam to do it for them. Colonized the entire planet, started two world wars - the second by an economically wrecked Germany - but all they can say is "But you vfat vrich Yankeez havz more peoples zhan the country of le France."
Well the US has 333 million, last I checked that's slighty less than 449 a lot.
If it defense matters so much to Euros, perhaps they can pretend its offense and do like their grandpas did not too long ago.
