Since when? Manufacturing jobs fell from the high of around 19.55M in June of 1979 to their lowest level of 11.4M in February of 2010. We generally fluctuated by a few million jobs from 1980 until 2000 or so, at which point we lost the lion's share (7M) during the Bush administration and his Great Recession.

From February of 2010 to January of 2017, manufacturing jobs grew by around a million jobs to 12.4M, and under Trump from February of 2017 to the pre-pandemic peak in mid-2019 they grew by around 400k to 12.8M.

Again, take your pick of Obama's last three years (representative of the economy he gifted his successor) and compare them to any of Trump's.

Creating a million new jobs and gifting his successor a booming economy after his predecessor destroyed 7 million and left us in the worst recession since the great depression was ok, yeah.

The problem is, even if we pretend 2020 didn't happen, there were still fewer than half as many manufacturing jobs created during Trump's administration than during Obama's, because those jobs plateaued in 2018 due to his stupid trade wars and tariffs, long before the pandemic sent manufacturing levels spiraling to pre-Obama levels.
