anti furry phase, i'm leaning back towards a more neutral stance.
as for how anti furries are closeted furries-
its most likely their environment. most people's introductions to furries on the internet is through violent, immature anti furry memes showing characters from pop culture, usually really bad people, portrayed as heroes for outright slaughtering groups of them.
this is perceived as a threat to people who would want to be furries, so they turn tail and charge into the opposite direction. so many closeted furries are the most violent of the anti furries because they're afraid of what will happen if they "come out" as a furry. they just end up repressing it until they truly believe the anti furry perspective or give up and become a furry
