No, but stick around. Several counties already have successfully voted to succeed from Oregon. I believe there is movement in Idaho to accept them.

I do too! It’s gonna be interesting, those counties are hell-bent on leaving. It will probably take state votes in both Oregon and Idaho, and an act of Congress.

I've even heard of a 'New California' that's in the works.

That’s been in the works probably over 10 years. It was even on a ballot in California and went nowhere. It was more of north versus south concept. There were fights over water distribution between the Bay Area and LA at the time. Recently, the rural areas in northern California are unhappy with the liberal politics of the rest of the state.
