Slimeball Tim Walz, forever disgraced. Field Grade Article 15 or Court Martial if he chooses.
Stripped of all rank, pay & allowances. Dishonorably Discharged.

OK, I'll bite....WHY is a guy who retired as a Master Sergeant wearing Sergeant Major stripes?

(and yeah, I know he was an ACTING SGM at one point...but how does THAT allow him to wear SGM rank on his Class A's? As I recall "Acting Jacks" {E-4's ACTING in E-5 positions} in the Regular Army STILL had E-4 rank on THEIR class A's.)

I’m guessing that picture was before he got out — but then maybe I’m just being too charitable.

I dunno Jeffrey...on his BDU's maybe...on his Class A's?
Any retired Top Dogs out there who can weigh in on this?
(and I mean ACTUAL Top Sergeants...not World Of War children who are playing pretend.)

I was never in the military, so I wouldn’t be able to know for sure. That was just a guess.

No worries....I was nine years in the U.S. Army but I'll be damned if I know that little piece of trivia... That's why I was asking for a Top Dog (that was what we called some of our 1st Sergeants...the more common term was Top Kick or just plain Top...we also had one we called 'Bonehead'...but NOT to his face! 😜)

Once had a bunch of senior NCO's arguing about the fact that one wore the 2nd Infantry Division (Indianhead) patch on his RIGHT sleeve where that showed you were in Combat with that outfit and the other E-7's/E-8's argued that THAT was wrong because only the guys who were in Combat Units, like the 9th ID, 1st Cav, etc, in Vietnam should wear a Combat Patch on the right....

The E-7 with the Indianhead argued that since we were STILL technically and officially in a war footing with North Korea (and still are) it was a combat assignment.

Never did hear how THAT one got played out. 🤔
