The Minecraft Movie does happen to be created by Warner Bros. That movie is definitely a mistake because a video game with highly pixilated, square looking graphics doesn't translate well into a cinematic, live action looking movie.
To me it doesn't make sense why Disney canceled The Owl House for it "didn't fit the brand" because Disney is practically making a lot of their brand about pandering to the LGBTQ+ community and The Owl House was one of Disney's most popular shows as opposed to other LGBTQ+ Disney productions like Strange World or the Buzz Lightyear movie.
I would just like to say: i f**king LOVED Lightyear. Toy Story was one of my absolute favourites as a kid, and Buzz was my favourite hands-down. I still have the toy of him i bought when i was like 3 or 4. But i can and do understand what you're saying.
Disney made a Buzz Lightyear movie called Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins a long time before the recent Lightyear movie so in my view there was no point in making the Lightyear movie and such a movie is very contradictory to the original Buzz Lightyear movie that was supposed to be an origin story of Buzz Lightyear.

LET'S MAKE LIVE ACTION REMAKES OF ALL OUR ANIMATED MOVIES EVEN MOANA! LET'S RACE SWAP EVERY WHITE CHARACTER AND MAKE THEM BLACK! LET'S MAKE A LIVE ACTION PREQUEL OF THE LION KING NO ONE ASKED FOR! IF YOU DON'T LIKE HALLE BAILEY AS THE LITTLE MERMAID, YOU'RE A RACIST! WE NEED MORE GAY CHARACTERS IN OUR MOVIES! WE WANT OUR COMPANY TO FAIL!
