He was a socialist, so still a commie. The only reason he hated communists was because they took orders from Moscow. He had more in common with Stalin than Churchill. And of course if you go through history there are many examples of non communists hating free speech, simply because it was before communism. I am speaking of the present.

Ok, now how about in the United States in the present.

Apparently Russia arrests far fewer people than the UK for speech violations. So not communist freer speech.

My concern is America and the attacks on free speech by the left and efforts to impose ministry of “disinformation” style controls on Americans.
