Genetic mutations are not "genders" they are birth defects. They come with a huge host of disabling conditions.

I have not heard anyone want to block corrective surgeries for birth defects.

I believe that is a hyperbolic statement, gender reassignment surgery has nothing to do with birt defect corrective surgery, corrrective surgeries are done right after birth, not while a child is going through puberty. Like I said , I have never heard a single conservative call for bans on corrective surgeries for birth defects.
