A question I asked a teacher after watching a video about unions, "Union dues are supposed to go back and help the employees the most. So how come al the unions bosses and reps in these news clips and whatnot are wearing outfits that clearly cost $1000 or more? Where do they get their money from to pay for all of that?"

Some people in the class laughed and the teacher looked he just got hit in the face with a boulder.

Union pensions used to be 100% funded. Funds were only allowed for pensions. Then it went to 90%, thanks to Democrat’s. The rest could be spent on politics, or anything else. Then it went to 80%, so even more went to wherever the bosses wanted. It also made the pensions less solvent. Death spiral of corruption.
