I agree. I've made a point of making sure to refer to women by their title and last name.

But I've seen the claim that a study found that referring to women by title & last name made them seem cold and unapproachable (but not so for men).

I've never been able to find the study, but it seems reasonable.

Reasonable . . . but but a symptom of the wrongness. But I have faith that we can change, even if only on the generational scale.
