For me it was never about age. There are plenty of old people I know who are still sharper than a razor's edge.

The mentally sharpest and physically toughest guys I ever knew were both in their middle eighties when I met them. They were easily able to keep up with the younger folk at work and in regards to both physical and mental ability.
