I do have to give Jimmy credit for starting Habitat for Humanity. But that was post presidency, so it doesn’t help his Presidential rating.

He did glom on to their cause.

Ratings and reality can be quite different beasties.
A lot of what Reagan has been credited with - from arms build up to reigning in inflation to economic growth - actually were courtesy of the Carter administration.
