Just a reminder concerning laws. Democrats passed laws controlling slavery, the fugitive slave Act. Jim Crow, poll taxes, Wilson segregated government offices and the military after Teddy Roosevelt desegregated them. Started the KKK to intimidate blacks. Southern Democrats passed laws prohibiting blacks from owning guns, which allowed the KKK to thrive unopposed. Promoted the “one-drop-rule” to label and divide people. FDR started “redlining” and the minimum wage law to discriminate against blacks and Chinese. Democrats are evil capitalist then.
