They specialize in propaganda. They hope the politically benign and indifferent will fall for it all by not checking and just believe it because they say it all the time. That was a Gobbelles tactic as well.
The intellectually lazy will almost always fall for political propaganda because the alternative is performing independent research and -- horrors of horrors! -- thinking for oneself.
