Well he did provide three people with jobs. They weren’t forced to work for him. That would be Un-American. No one magically know how to operate those machines so training must have been involved. A boss doesn’t have to be the best. He/she just needs invest and hire the best.

You’re literally arguing with a teenager who still lives with mommy at home.

I’m not really arguing, just trying to instill some basic economics. Seem a hard concept for some.

And they get money off of those "best" people. Creating the jobs doesn't matter. If you work the jobs, you should have more money than mfs who don't do anything.

Like does this not make sense to you? It's a basic idea that I had when I was a little girl and I still have. How does it not make sense that things should be worker owned?

No one is stopping worker owned if it works for them. I haven’t found any evidence that is works. Free market is a better system. Fair exchange of things. No coherency, this includes labor. Large corporations may be guilty of mistreating employees yet employees have the free will to changes work and lifestyles. Maybe they can create an employee own company.

For the vast majority of people - YES, that is correct.

There are people for whom that is not true.

Would you like to know who they are?

I know who.

Rich people.

Close.

The people that created the job you competed with others to get only to complain about once you got it.

I am using "you" in the general sense.

No one is simply born rich unless their father took the chance to earn what he is worth.

Think of the creator/owner portion of your labor as a tax on you for your not having to take a risk.

Communists love taxes that go for the common good, right?

The owner will live large, sure.

He will also reinvest your "taxes" in his business creating more jobs and opportunities for your beloved comrades...and yes, more "taxes" for himself - just like communism...except you can quit your job if you don't like the work or the pay you agreed to accept.

I shouldn't need to compete with others to get a job

Also the "taking a risk" is getting old. If they don't work as much, why do they get paid more? And why do they make money off MY work?

False narrative.

They work more than any employee they have.

Their entire standard of living is at stake every single day.

Of course you are tired of hearing that they are taking all of the risk because you are not taking any risk.

1. They invested a great deal of time and money creating a viable business that fills a need and carry the responsibility for the liabilities that come with ownership. He makes pennies from your labor. If he is successful, he will make the cumulative pennies from many people's labor.

2. You need to ask yourself why you would work for another.

Do you lack the gumption, courage, knowledge, skills to create something from nothing?

The worker has zero risk. The owner has 100%. I can’t believe we are even having this sub-sophomoric discussion.

Well, we are talking to sophomores.

I'm taking a risk to make the idea of worker owned companies. But I'm risking my life.
2 ups, 6d
That idea is not new.

There are currently 6,000+ "worker owned" medium to large businesses operating in the US.

Risking your life?

😄 NONSENSE !

You risk nothing.
