They can’t do a bait and switch. All the electors Biden received in the primaries are obligated to vote for him. He has more than enough electors to win in the first round of voting.
If he steps down before the convention, it becomes an ugly free for all. Not only that, but whoever comes out of the convention as nominee has no campaign funds, which is a severe handicap going into the general election. Biden’s funds can’t just be given to his replacement.
If Biden steps aside for the election, it’s basically an admission he is not fit to be president NOW. And that is a very serious problem for the Dems AND the country.
The best the Dems can do is hope to win the election, then deal with it.

Yes but now Democrats have to decide whether to let him step down aka drop out or to take him out now. So it looks like the Democrats are in a lot of trouble, and it doesn't show their party is very stable doing things that are illegal.

Lucky for them they can just have him have a "medical emergency". After all they are good at manufacturing crises.

At this point, the only play the Democrats have is to register more nonexistent voters and mail in the ballots.

Maricopa County, AZ had thousands of 2022 mail-in ballots where the signatures did not match signature on file, yet were still counted.

Yes. There were more than enough to potentially make Kari Lake the governor.

It just shows how corrupt the Democrats are and how far they'll go to stay in power and control.

And the snafu with ballot readers not working for hours, mostly in heavy Republican precincts. The chairman of the board of county Supervisors ( a Republican, no less) started an anti-MAGA PAC before the election. Just a small conflict of interest with his role administering the election.

Democrat's seem to have experience rigging elections and would wonder how much the chairman got paid to do it.
