This is a lame duck argument.
Christians, for the most part, already tithe 10% to their church.
Your fear mongering post is directed at the wrong audience.
Secular government taxation greatly exceeds 10%. In many states that percentage is taken through sales tax alone.
Tax your wages, tax your utility bills, tax your fuel, tax your property, tax your real estate, tax you every time you spend a dollar, tax any interest gained from saving instead of spending, tax you to register your vehicle, tax you to obtain/renew your driver's license, tax you to hunt or fish for food, tax your estate when you die, even tax your "final expenses" to burn or bury you.
A simple 10% of one's earnings is by far the better option.
Christ hater commentary doesn't scare me, try something else.
The drive to increase the "living wage" is another "fool's errand".
Higher wages and higher prices equal higher tax revenues.
It is not a cost of living adjustment.
