Thing is, they couldn’t “go to a swing state” because they were state level charges, not federal level. So it had to take place in New York.
And yes, it would be nigh impossible to have a jury without some bias, but I think it’s preposterous that not one single juror was neutral or sympathetic towards Trump. Heck, everyone here was just bragging about how much appeal Trump had there, so unless they were lying about that, then there must have at least been some jurors that were on his side, and maybe the evidence presented swayed them to convict him.
Are the charges ridiculous? I’d say more frivolous, but a felony is a felony. That being said, what I do think is ridiculous is Trump getting jail time. He’ll likely just get off with fines or something of the like
