This is not a stance on crime , it is a stance on political curroption. That is way the dems are pushing so hard, criminals run free while a political adversary get put through the ringer on charges that had 0 victims. To try and mix everyday crime and political stances on such into this is misguided.

The jurors were 12 everyday people as far as I know. If there was any kind of corruption, wouldn’t at least one of them have smelt a rat and nullified the verdict through hung jury?

People Lie. They could have said anything to be on the jury. The left has been Drooling at the idea of Trump in jail for 8 years.

So basically the only evidence you have is assuming the worst in people. Listen, I respect you and all, but I think that’s a bit of an unfair assumption

Its not the worst in people, They chose from a jury pool at had over an 80% democrat denisity, It may be unfair but it is realistic.

Thing is, they couldn’t “go to a swing state” because they were state level charges, not federal level. So it had to take place in New York.

And yes, it would be nigh impossible to have a jury without some bias, but I think it’s preposterous that not one single juror was neutral or sympathetic towards Trump. Heck, everyone here was just bragging about how much appeal Trump had there, so unless they were lying about that, then there must have at least been some jurors that were on his side, and maybe the evidence presented swayed them to convict him.

Are the charges ridiculous? I’d say more frivolous, but a felony is a felony. That being said, what I do think is ridiculous is Trump getting jail time. He’ll likely just get off with fines or something of the like

It bugs me a little but not really seeing it doesn't effect anything in th grand scheme of things, if trump goes to jail or not or if he is elected or not.. nothing will change . However enough of this politcal nonsense. I sat and watched a movie with my wife and kids and it was great, if you and your partener want to see a great movie check out "Godzilla minus 1" , great great movie . I can't recommend it enough. 5.99 to rent on comcast!

Thanks! I’ve heard a lot of good things about it, but haven’t gotten around to seeing it yet. Here, I’ll also recommend a movie for y’all: it released about two years ago, and it’s definitely not one for the younger kids, but Everything, Everywhere, All at Once is an amazing movie if you haven’t seen it yet. I think it’s airing on TV pretty soon too, and likely On Demand if you have Cable

That isn’t 100% though. All it would have taken is for one Trump or Die person to be on that jury and he would have been acquitted. And the lawyers on both sides can only pre-emptive strike so many individuals, and those records suggest that quite a few of the jurors were indeed heavy conservatives. So the fact that Trump was still found guilty tells me that the evidence against him was truly irrefutable

No one reported that one of the alternate jurors had to be inserted, because 11 had beaten one to death.

I don't believe anyone was bullied, what I do believe is that the Jury was made up of trump haters that wanted to see him put away no matter what. Even an Independent could see how ridiculous these charges are. Trump is so Bi Polar meaning people love him or hate him, no one in the country can claim they are not aware of him or could be non bias. If anything they should have taken him to a swing state where there jury pool would have been balanced.
