Republicans aren't the only ones who vote in elections, and not all republicans are MAGA. Nikki Haley supporters can't be relied on to support Trump. Some will undoubtedly vote for Biden. Further, there is likely uncommitted voters and voters leaning against Biden who will look askance at voting for a convicted felon for the Presidency.
